Vocal Concert on June 25th

Melissa Kreft will give a Vocal Concert at 7:30 PM on Friday, June 25th, in Pilgrim Lutheran’s sanctuary. Melissa will be a Junior at Susquehanna University next fall. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. Melissa will be accompanied by Jeff Smith, who also is a music major at Susquehanna University. Although this is a free concert, a free-will donation will be taken with proceeds going to help Melissa fund her college education.

Melissa is home for the summer and is working at Ledo’s Pizza as well as taking on several other jobs. Melissa is seeing the effects of the economic crisis as the loans that she expected to receive to finish her education are no longer available. Melissa is doing all that has been advised for her to do to earn money to hopefully finish her studies and receive her degree.
