Four Needs
The Four Needs come through Stephen Ministry and their Discovering God’s Vision for Your Life: You and Your Spiritual Gifts materials.
Why do people join congregations? Why do members need from their congregations? What motivates people to get involved and stay involved? What longings of individuals can local congregations (like Pilgrim Lutheran) directly fulfill?
Surveys done the Stephen Ministry of thousands of individuals, both inside and outside the Church, consistently reveal that people look to the Church to meet the following four needs: Spirituality, Community, Care, and Ministering.
This points to where we want to be as a local church: meeting the needs of Pilgrims, Pilgrim friends, and others. To learn more about the Four Needs please review the following:
