What the day looks like

Gadget's Garage is a site-rotation type of Vacation Bible Camp. That means that students move between different locations during the camp day. Here are the different sites:

1. All Start Here

  • Meet Group Guides & G.A.D.G.E.T Groups.
  • Group Guides get Buzz Sheets & supplies for their groups.
  • Read the Bible story Scripture together.
  • Learn & respond to the Main Ideas.
  • Sing Robot Rhythms & do song actions.
  • Meet Gadget & Gizmo in the skits.
  • Pray.
  • Dismiss to rotation sites.

2. Get Moving -- 25 minutes at each site.

  • Transform Me! Bible Stories
    • Participate in highly interactive, memorable Bible storytelling that sparks kids' curiosity.
    • Reinforce the Main Ideas.
    • Apply Bible truths by discussing "What's the Buzz" in G.A.D.G.E.T. Groups.
  • Gadget's Games
    • Play games that reinforce the Bible stories & Main Ideas.
    • Discuss Game Points.
  • Invent-a-Snack
    • Make snacks that reinforce the Bible stories & Main Ideas.
    • Pray & eat..
    • Discuss Real-Life Stories with G.A.D.G.E.T. Groups.
  • Imagine That! Crafts
    • Make crafts that reinforce the Bible stories & Main Ideas.
    • Listen to Robot Rhythms while working.
  • Build-a-Bot Bible Challenge
    • Build Bible Bots on Day 1, then add items each day to reinforce the Main Ideas. Kids use the bots to find missing Bible memory words too.
    • Learn Bible memory verses with rhythm & music.

3. All End Here at Eureka! Closing

  • Review the Main Idea & theme Bible memory verse.
  • Sing Robot Rhythms & do song actions.
  • View a mission video.
  • Pray, including using a litany that reinforces the Bible memory verse.
  • Video Gadget & Gizmo again in the skits.
  • Receive a Faith-in-Motion Challenge to give back by serving Jesus & others with hands, minds, ears, eyes, & hearts.
  • Receive Faith-in-motion Collectibles, take-home information, & a parting blessing from Group Guides.
  • Dismiss to rotation sites.
